Adam Lee Harvey was wanted on a warrant after police were called to investigate the assault in the 1100 block of Pine Court, Jackson Township, on Aug. 25 around 1:30 a.m. according to the Northern York County Regional police department.
The 17-year-girlfriend "did not seek medical treatment," police say.
A felony warrant for his arrest was issued after he was charged with the following offenses: Strangulation, Harassment, Purchase, Consumption, Possession or Transportation of Liquor or Malt Brewed Beverages, and Public Drunkenness, according to the police.
Harvey was found at a home in Dover Township and was taken into custody by the Northern York County Regional police at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, according to an updated release by the police. Department.
